Ivy Jane was a stray who had a litter of puppies. As soon as her puppies were old enough, the good Samaritan who had been feeding them all reached out for rescue for the little family.  Ivy is underweight because she gave all she had to her puppies.  Today, Ivy starts a new life... one where she knows a soft bed, lots of love and never feels hunger.  She is now up to date on her vaccinations, but she is heartworm positive. Ivy will be spayed and receive treatment to rid her of the heartworms.  She will be available as a foster-to-adopt until her heartworm treatment is complete.
