Vivian is a wonderful senior dog who had a really rough life before she found her way to rescue.  When rescued, she had a single puppy and not producing milk; she was severely underweight; she was heartworm positive, and she had horrible ear infections.  She is gaining weight, but very slowly.  She survived years of neglect but she truly loves people.  She has limited hearing and because she was starved in the past, she is very protective of her food or treats from other animals.  Vivian has been fostering at a doggy daycare.  She does good with other dogs as long as there is no food/treats involved.  We are not sure if she would be possessive over toys as she doesn't have much interest in them other than to have a stuffy in her bed with her.  We believe she would do best with children 7 or older who are respectful of dogs.  She would thrive in a home where she could be the center of someone's hearts and live the rest of her life with all the love she has missed in the past.
