Bam is 2 year old Golden Retriever mix.  He weighs 48 pounds.  He is up to date on vaccinations & on ProHearts for his heartworm preventive.  He is a super sweet dog, but he likes to be the boss.  He would do best with another dog that is submissive.  He loves to run, jump and play.  He will also cuddle with you on the couch  or in bed when he finally wears himself out.  He needs to be watched closely around cats.  He is an eager eater and loves to have treats in the evening.  He would be great for a family with active kids.  He does not do well crated for long periods of time - it escalates his energy.  A fenced in yard area would be best for him to be able to run and play safely.
