Red is a redbone coonhound.  He is almost three years old.  He is up to date on vaccinations and he is neutered.  He came to rescue heartworm positive, but he is going through heartworm treatment and which will be completed in March.  He is a big boy, but he loves human affection.  He has done well with other dogs, but he can not be in a home with cats, chickens or horses.  He was kept outside prior to coming to rescue and he has been in boarding where he has access to the outside through a doggy door.
